Privacy Policy
This policy covers the MAGEN ZION website and Test Mode demonstrations. Participation and device sharing are voluntary. Without the relevant permission, location or live media features will not work. Test Mode does not dispatch private responders or public emergency services.

Information you provide
Public pages do not require an account. A demonstration can include a participant name, language, chat messages, session actions and selected destinations. Contacting us by email shares your address and anything you send. The protected command workspace uses the supervisor’s authenticated identity. Its access controls differ from the public demo, which uses temporary pairing and session credentials.
Location, device information and media
When enabled, the phone sends coordinates, accuracy, movement and available battery and connection information to the server and paired supervisor screen. Camera and microphone access require device permission. Enabled live media uses LiveKit. Recording, where configured and explicitly started, stores evidence in private Cloudflare R2 storage. Stop sharing or end the session to stop further device sharing; this does not delete earlier records.
Browser storage and request information
Session storage keeps temporary phone or supervisor credentials in the browser tab. A separate single-screen simulation holds its simulated state in page memory. The public demo hashes IP address and browser user-agent information for rate limiting. Hosting and authentication providers process request information and may use necessary cookies. No advertising or analytics tracker is configured in the application code reviewed for this release.
Why information is used and who receives it
Information supports the requested demonstration, communication, access control and abuse prevention. Paired participants receive session information. Cloudflare hosts the application and connected-session database. Map display requests go to OpenStreetMap and can reveal the viewed area and ordinary request information; place searches use GovMap, and configured route requests send coordinates to Mapbox. Enabled media uses LiveKit. These providers may process information outside your country; specific processing locations have not been confirmed.
How long information stays
Public demo access expires after 30 minutes; protected Test Mode sessions normally expire after two hours. Connected-session records become eligible for deletion 24 hours after creation and are removed by cleanup during subsequent service requests. Closing a tab, resetting the screen or ending a session does not immediately erase server records. Recording metadata assigns a 30-day expiry, but automatic file deletion is not implemented; deletion must be arranged with the operator. Retention for correspondence, hosting logs and backups requires owner confirmation.
Your choices, requests and security
You can decline device permissions, stop sharing and close the demonstration. Clearing browser storage removes local credentials, not server records. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information or to ask about other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your request. Access checks and private storage reduce exposure but cannot guarantee security. Share only the information needed for the test.
Children and policy changes
A parent or responsible organization should supervise any demonstration involving a child and arrange the necessary permission. Age checks and a dedicated child-account flow are not implemented. Contact us if a child’s information has been shared unintentionally. We will update this page and its date when this policy changes.
